The Alrdry, or electrical towel, as it is sometimes called, consists of a white enamel base, pedestal, front and back case which contains an electric motor, powerful fan, switch, nickel horn case, electrical heating device, auu iiic vaiiuua wuc cujiucliuuB. lilts ittlmachine is operated by stepping upon la, peaai at me uase or tne machine hcre' ng me moior wnicn revolves tne ran at the rate of 7,200 revolutions a minute, throwing through the horn a large volume of warm air that has been heated by passing over electric wires.

The action of the warm air thrown forward through the horn of the machine quickly evaporates the water from the hands and face, drying them perfectly in less than 30 Beconds. The Alrdry business was brought here several years ago and it was in Groton that the machine was really perfected. Here it seems we have men of unusual ability, courage and vision, as is evidenced by the wonderful growth and success of the Corona Typewriter Company. Started about 10 years ago the Corona Company hae built up a business of world-wide expansion an! mounting to several millions of dollars in annual sales, and eivinff employment to about 800 people. The Alrdry Corporation was ks.

funded and is being operated and tnanaged by some of the same people that are identified with the Corona Company, and it is confidently believed that the. same splendid success that attended the Corona Company will be duplicated by the Airdry Corporation. Many Satisfied Customers. While visiting the Airdry office the manager, M. D.

J. Watrous, disclosed to me a long list of customers and users of the electric towel and among them were nearly every bank and trust company and department store in Boston, among the latter being the Jordan-Marsh Company, Filene's, Gil-christs and Chandlers; also Harvard University and the Boston Maine Railroad office, each using from 10 to 65 machines each; also the Travelers Insurance Company of Hartford, who are using 180 machines. sick and elderly people of the community were distributed.
